When I was embossing something the other day, I came across a strange thing. I stamped with dark blue pigment ink, then covered with dark blue embossing powder and shook off the excess. When I heat it up with a heat gun, it ended up being blue with WHITE - it was sort of crackled. The paper I was embossing was not white. I have no idea why or how white got into the picture here. I tried it again thinking that maybe I was holding the heat gun too close or something, but it happened again. Has anyone ever come across this? How do I prevent it? I didn't try any of the other colors, I ended up just embossing with white to avoid it. :/
